Shawn Sheppard

Shawn Sheppard is a seasoned operations executive with extensive experience in the optical design and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as the Vice President of Operations at BrightView Technologies since February 2020, Shawn leads an agile team to deliver rapid and scalable solutions in microlens array production, utilizing advanced techniques such as roll-to-roll film imprinting. Prior roles include Technical Director and Senior Manager in Materials and Process R&D, where Shawn focused on the development of micron-scale lens arrays and improved processes for light management products. With a background at Tredegar Film Products as R&D Manager and Site Manager, Shawn was pivotal in scaling up innovative films and overseeing product development at the Richmond Tech Center. Previous positions at Milliken & Company included Development Manager and Senior Development Chemist, focusing on polymer additives and revolutionary polypropylene technologies. Shawn holds a BS in Chemistry from The University of Georgia.
