Florence Lau has a diverse work experience in software engineering. In 2015, they worked as a Web Developer at UC Berkeley's Office of Intellectual Property and Industry Research Alliances (IPIRA), where they developed a Java web application and automated PDF generation. In 2016, they had a software engineering internship at AOL Platforms, where they enhanced the UI/UX elements and data visualizations of a web application. In 2017, Florence interned as a Software Engineer at ESI Toronto, where they developed features for a security monitoring robot and built software for a laser sensor. Florence then joined Blueprint, Technology for Non-Profits as an App Developer, working on React Native/Rails and React/Rails applications.
