Monte Eaves has a diverse and extensive work experience. Felmont ("Monte") is currently serving as the Director at the American Board of Plastic Surgery since May 2017. Before that, they were the Founder and CEO of BrijjitCo, LLC since May 2016 and the Founder and CEO of EMRGE, LLC since July 2013. Monte Eaves also held the position of Past President at the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery starting in 1999. Felmont ("Monte") was a Professor of Surgery (Plastic) at Emory University from 2013 to August 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Partner at Charlotte Plastic Surgery from July 1997 to February 2013 and Assistant Professor of Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine from July 1994 to 1997.

Felmont ("Monte") Eaves completed their undergraduate education at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 1980 to 1983. Felmont ("Monte") pursued a degree in Biology, Chemistry, and Ancient Mediterranean Civilization during this time.

Afterwards, Eaves attended The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where they earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from 1983 to 1987.

Felmont ("Monte") then furthered their medical education at UT Southwestern Medical Center from 1987 to 1992. Felmont ("Monte") completed a residency in General Surgery during this period.

Eaves went on to join the Plastic Surgery Residency Program at Emory University School of Medicine from 1992 to 1994, specializing in Plastic Surgery. Additionally, they completed a fellowship in Aesthetic and Minimally Invasive Plastic Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine from 1992 to 1993.
