Claudia P. Rico

Claudia P. Rico has a diverse work experience in project management and IT consulting. Claudia P. began their career as a Business/Systems Analyst Leader at the International Center for Tropical Agriculture, where they played a key role in reengineering projects and was responsible for creating business requirements and functional specifications. Claudia P. also served as an International Consultant at the Inter-American Center Of Tax Administrations, where they helped redefine tax and custom procedures and provided advice on the effective use of applications and information technology.

Claudia then joined the Superintendency of Tax Administration (SAT & BCIE) as an IT Consultant, successfully implementing BPM processes and leading a team of developers. Claudia P. later worked as a Project Coordinator at COOMEVA Group (Bank), specializing in BPM implementation for banking and insurance processes.

Moving forward, Claudia took on the role of PMO Consultant at TransGrid, where they analyzed and organized project information, applied project development life cycle methodologies, and ensured timely completion of work. Claudia P. Rico has a diverse education history that includes various degrees and certifications. Claudia P. started their education at ICESI University from 1994 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Sciences with an emphasis in Business Administration. In 2002, Claudia pursued further education at Universidad ICESI and earned a Master's degree in Information Systems Management and Telecommunications.

After several years, they enrolled at Tulane University - A.B. Freeman School of Business in 2011 and completed their studies in 2013, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Management. During their time at Tulane University, they also joined the Toastmasters International Club in 2012, where they achieved the Competent Communicator certification, specializing in Speech Communication and Rhetoric.

In addition to their formal education, Claudia has also obtained the Professional Scrum Master certification (PSM) from Scrum.org in December 2017.
