Kim Garcia has a diverse work experience spanning from 2013 to the present. Kim currently holds the position of Director of Talent Acquisition at Brilliant Earth, a role they have held since October 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition and Talent Acquisition Manager at the same company. In these roles, they managed full-cycle recruiting, evaluated candidates for executive hiring, and built reporting standards for talent acquisition. Before their time at Brilliant Earth, Kim held various roles including HR Associate at Brilliant Earth, Research Assistant, Peer Health Educator, Teaching Assistant, and Resident Assistant at Santa Clara University. Kim Garcia attended Santa Clara University from 2013 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with a major in Psychology and a minor in Public Health. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Campolindo High School from 2009 to 2013. In 2022, they obtained a certification in the I.D.E.A (Inclusivity, Diversity, and Equity for All) Educational Program from the Black in Jewelry Coalition.
