Cole Bolton

Cole Bolton serves as the Head of Creative Operations at Brilliant.org since July 2023. Previously, Cole held the position of Assistant to the CEO at Blue Ocean Barns from June 2021 to July 2023, where Cole was involved in addressing methane emissions from cows. Prior roles include Director of Content at The AI Foundation, where Cole established the creative department and managed a writing team, and Founder, CEO, and Creative Lead at Thud, a satirical comedy company co-founded with Elon Musk. Cole’s extensive experience at The Onion includes roles from Editor in Chief to Writer-At-Large, contributing significantly to the brand's editorial voice and creative output. Cole also has a background in economics, with positions as a Research Associate at Harvard Business School and an Associate Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, complemented by a degree in Business Economics from Brown University and studies at the University of Oxford.
