Jim Wong

Jim Wong is a Board Member at Brilliant and has over 20 years of experience in the accounting and staffing industries. Jim is a certified public accountant (Inactive) and graduated from NIU in 1992 with a bachelor's degree in accounting. Jim co-founded a large finance and accounting staffing company which was successfully sold to a NYSE staffing company in 2006. In 2009, they founded Brilliant. In March 2016, they were recognized on the Staffing 100 List 2016 for North America and selected to serve on the Board of Directors for the Illinois Business and Economic Development Corporation (ILBEDC). Jim is an active member of the IL CPA Society, the NIU Dept. of Accountancy Board of Advisors, and a board member of the Northern Illinois Executive Club. Jim has authored numerous articles and was named NIU 2003-2004 Outstanding Young Alumnus.

Jim Wong earned their Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University. Jim then attended Oakton Community College.
