Shubhradeep Nandi

Shubhradeep Nandi serves as the Chief Data Scientist at the Government of Andhra Pradesh since April 2023, leading the first Data Analytics Unit of the Indian Government at the AP Centre for Financial Systems & Services. Nandi's expertise is focused on enabling data-driven decisions across top revenue-generating departments, with research interests in Gen-AI and large language models, particularly in the domains of financial fraud, revenue monitoring, and anti-money laundering. In addition to the current role, Nandi acts as a mentor and advisor to AI startups at Mumbai Angels and Brinc, while previously co-founding and serving as CEO and Chief Data Scientist at PiChain Innovations. Career achievements include roles at MSys Technologies, Bitgram, IBM, and Adobe, and a strong educational background with degrees in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, as well as studies at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and Stanford University.
