Michael Fernandes

Michael Fernandes is a Vice President on the investment team at Brinley. Prior to joining Brinley in 2022, Michael was a Vice President and founding member of the private debt investments team at Invesco. While at Invesco, Michael served as a deal team lead, responsible for sourcing, diligencing, underwriting, structuring, legal negotiations and portfolio monitoring for investments across the capital structure.

Prior to joining Invesco, Michael was with Falcon Investment Advisors underwriting junior capital investments to the lower middle-market. Michael also was an investment banking analyst focused on international mergers and acquisitions at C.W. Downer & Company and a member of the PwC advisory team with a focus on financial services.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a dual major in Economics and Finance and a minor in Philosophy from Boston College.
