Laurence Schmitt

Laurence Schmitt has over twenty years of work experience in the technology industry. From 1999 to 2000, they worked as a Data Management Temp for the City of Philadelphia. Laurence then moved to Omnient, where they worked as a Web Developer from 2000 to 2001. Laurence then moved to Strohl Systems, where they worked as a Senior Web Developer from 2001 to 2008. After that, they moved to Cadient Group, where they worked as a Technical Lead from 2008 to 2011. In 2011, they moved to Managing Editor Inc., where they worked as a Senior Product Manager. Laurence then moved to Tafology LLC, where they worked as a Principal and Lead Web Developer from 2011 to 2013. Finally, they moved to Brio, where they have been working as the Head Of Technology since 2016. In this role, they are responsible for leading design, architecture and implementation of multiple data migration, web and software projects, providing technical leadership and expertise, troubleshooting problems and mentoring team members. Laurence is also responsible for the final output of all data migration, software and web development projects including the final reviews and testing to ensure that the applications have met all defined requirements and standards.

Laurence Schmitt earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix between 2004 and 2007. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from Drexel University between 1997 and 2001.
