Michael Jarvis serves as the Head of Airport Planning at Brisbane Airport Corporation since November 2019. Previously, at Melbourne Airport from June 2011 to September 2019, Michael held several key positions including Executive Planning, where leadership encompassed the creation of a long-term development plan, and Head of Strategic Planning and Safeguarding, responsible for critical infrastructure investment programs. Earlier roles included Manager Planning, where Michael initiated the world-first international self-service check-in system, and Design and Development Manager, contributing to a $500 million terminal development project. Michael also gained experience as Network Planning Manager at Tigerair Australia and as an Aviation Consultant at Airbiz, advising major international airports on various planning and design projects. Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Monash University.
