Ms Veena Herron is Director of Communications and Engagement at Brisbane Girls Grammar School. Ms Herron joined the School in 2017, initially as Communications Manager. In her current role, she is responsible for the School’s Communications, Community Engagement and Events functions.

Ms Herron holds more than 15 years’ experience in corporate communications and community relations roles, predominately across the healthcare, education and construction sectors. Her expertise in sustainable marketing, corporate and internal communication, and education marketing has received industry recognition at an international, national and state level. Her academic work has also been published in peer-reviewed journals.

Ms Herron’s extensive experience supports her role at Girls Grammar, in which she prioritises strategically effective communications, and meaningful and authentic community relations with current, enrolled, and prospective Girls Grammar families.
