Darrin Sprague

Darrin Sprague has extensive work experience in various roles related to information security, audit, and risk management. Darrin currently holds the position of Vice President / Information Security Officer at Bristol County Savings Bank since May 2017. Prior to this, Darrin worked at Citizens Bank as the SVP, Corporate Security & Resilience - Information Security Policy, Process & Governance from April 2015 to May 2017. Darrin also served as the VP, Audit Director at Citizens Financial Group from April 2014 to April 2015.

Before joining Citizens Financial Group, Darrin held multiple positions at Citizens Bank. Darrin served as the Vice President, Senior Audit Manager, Technology Integrated Audit from September 2012 to April 2014, and as the Vice President, Audit Manager, Change Audit from May 2011 to October 2012.

Darrin's previous work experience includes the role of Director of IT Audit at Houghton Mifflin from February 2009 to September 2011, Audit Manager at Staples from April 2006 to February 2009, and Director of Internal Audit at Teradyne from April 2005 to April 2006.

Darrin started their career at Ernst & Young in 1999, where they held the position of Manager - Technology & Security Risk Services until April 2005. In addition, Darrin also worked as a TSRS Manager at Ernst & Young from 1999 to 2005.

Before joining Ernst & Young, Darrin worked as an Internal Auditor at CVS from January 1998 to May 1999. Throughout their career, Darrin has gained substantial experience in the fields of information security, audit management, and risk services.

Darrin Sprague completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Bentley University, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. In addition to their formal education, Darrin also obtained several certifications in the field of cybersecurity.
