Ajay Saxena

Ajay Saxena is an accomplished Associate Scientific Director at Bristol Myers Squibb since August 2019, where leadership of cross-functional teams focuses on the development of patient-centric drug products and novel drug delivery systems for complex molecules. Previously, Ajay served as a Principal Scientist, developing model-based strategies and physiologically based pharmacokinetic absorption models essential for oral solid dosage forms. With a comprehensive background at Bristol-Myers Squibb-Biocon Research Center and Syngene International Limited as a Lead Investigator, Ajay has led teams in the end-to-end development of drug products for clinical studies, employing various bioavailability enhancement strategies. Ajay's early academic and research endeavors include a Post-Doctorate at the University of Minnesota and a PhD from the University of Bradford, with a strong focus on the physicochemical characteristics of pharmaceuticals.
