Bijay Shankar Jaiswal

Bijay Shankar Jaiswal is an experienced researcher with a robust background in translational medicine, biomarker discovery, and cancer research. Currently serving as the Director of Translational Medicine at Bristol Myers Squibb since July 2022, Jaiswal previously held the position of Associate Director and Principal Research Scientist II at Abbvie from February 2020 to July 2022. Prior roles included leading biomarker discovery efforts at PathomIQ and serving as a Principal Scientific Researcher at Genentech, where Jaiswal focused on oncology target discovery and validation. Educationally, Jaiswal completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University and earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Jadavpur University. Numerous publications highlight contributions to the understanding of cAMP signaling and cancer treatment targets.
