Frances I Montes

Frances I Montes is an experienced professional in pharmaceutical manufacturing and technology, currently serving as Associate Director at Bristol Myers Squibb since March 2022. In this role, Frances leads technical operations for oral solid dosage drug products, facilitating their transition from development to commercial launch while actively participating in development teams for late-phase assets. Prior to this, Frances worked at McNeil Consumer Healthcare as Principal Process Scientist, overseeing cross-functional teams and managing technical transfer projects with a focus on continuous improvement. Frances also held positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb as Senior Process Scientist and Senior Process Scientist Supervisor, where responsibilities included leading new product introductions and ensuring compliance with BMS and FDA guidelines. Frances holds a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico-Cayey.
