Yolanda Rivera

Yolanda Rivera, PE, currently serves as Associate Director at Bristol Myers Squibb since August 2021, focusing on technology transfer and validation. Previously, Yolanda held the position of Lead Scientist/Associate Director at Samsung BioLogics, overseeing validation for cell culture and purification processes, and mentoring junior associates. Prior experience includes roles as Validation Manager and Senior Validation Specialist at Takeda, where validation efforts contributed to a successful FDA inspection, and Senior Validation Engineer at Pfizer, managing projects from inception to GMP release. Yolanda began a career as a Validation Engineer at Grifols and developed foundational skills at The Validation Group, Inc. Additionally, Yolanda shared expertise as an Adjunct Professor in Biotechnology/Biomanufacturing at Wake Technical Community College. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University and the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
