Zack McMurry

Zack McMurry is an accomplished professional in the biopharmaceutical industry with extensive experience in CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls) and technology strategy. Currently serving as the CMC Team Lead and Director of Technology Strategy and Innovation at Bristol Myers Squibb since January 2018, Zack leads the Breyanzi cross-functional CMC team for label expansion filings and spearheads the development of competitive technology strategies for cell therapy assets. Prior roles include Associate Director of Vector CMC Lead and CMC Project Manager, focusing on lifecycle management strategies and initial commercial submissions for Breyanzi. Before joining Bristol Myers Squibb, Zack was a Senior Project Manager at CMC Biologics, managing various drug substance manufacturing projects. As a co-founder of Vitruvian Energy, Zack contributed to innovative biofuel technology, and earlier work includes positions as a Process Development Associate at CMC Biologics and Development Engineer at the University of Washington. Zack holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington.
