Jamie Ross

Jamie Ross is an experienced aviation professional with a strong background in search and rescue operations and military aviation. Currently serving as a SAR Commander at Bristow Group since November 2022, Jamie previously held the position of HEMS Captain at Babcock Onshore from September 2020 to November 2022. Before that, Jamie transitioned from the Royal Navy where roles included Helicopter Pilot and Operations Officer. Additionally, Jamie served in the United States Marine Corps as an MV-22B Osprey Tiltrotor Pilot, following a tenure with the Royal Navy as a SAR Commander and pilot on Sea King helicopters. Education includes a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Physical Geography and Outdoor Education from The University of Edinburgh, complemented by foundational education at Ellon Academy in Aberdeenshire.
