Lea Wiggins

Lea Wiggins is a data engineering professional with a robust background in managing and optimizing data teams. Currently serving as the Head of Data Engineering at Brit Insurance since January 2022, Lea leads a team focused on developing a Modern Data Platform and has implemented process improvements that enhance team productivity. Previously, Lea held roles as a Lead and Senior Data Engineer, successfully developing applications and frameworks to meet business objectives. Prior experience includes serving as a Business Intelligence Data Warehouse Consultant at Tahola, where Lea led a team and managed data solutions, and a Timetabling Assistant (Data Analyst) at the University of Hertfordshire. Lea holds a Bachelor's degree in Business and Marketing from the University of Hertfordshire. Additionally, Lea contributes to community engagement as an Ambassador for STEM Ambassadors since April 2023.
