Robert Seward

Head Of Group Financial Accounting at Brit Insurance

Robert Seward has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Robert started their career at Mazars as an Auditor, working with large corporate and financial services clients. Robert then moved on to KPMG, where they served as a Manager, specializing in structured transactions accounting advisory and insurance accounting advisory. After that, they joined the Bank of England Prudential Regulation Authority as a Technical Specialist in Accounting Policy, focusing on insurance and financial instrument accounting. Following their time at the PRA, they worked at Morgan Stanley as an Executive Director, leading accounting policy, international disclosure, advisory, and policy matters. Currently, Robert is the Head of Group Financial Accounting at Brit Insurance, where they are responsible for group and subsidiary reporting, financial accounting, and financial operations.

Robert Seward attended the University of Oxford from 1996 to 2000. Robert then studied at ICAEW from 2000 to 2003, obtaining a degree in ACA. In 2011 and 2012, Robert pursued further education at the Chartered Insurance Institute, earning a Cert CII degree.
