Sue Ogilvie

Sue Ogilvie has a diverse work experience in procurement and management roles. Sue is currently the Head of Commercial Management and Outsourcing at Brit Insurance since February 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Global Head of Procurement from April 2019 to February 2021, and as a Procurement Manager from January 2015 to April 2019, both at Brit Insurance.

Before joining Brit Insurance, Sue worked as an Operations Manager at I AM Information Technology for a brief period in 2013. Their responsibilities included overseeing purchasing, customer service, supplier management, and logistics for IT hardware, software, and services.

Earlier in their career, Sue held various roles at Kelway UK Ltd from 1999 to 2012. Sue started as a Buyer/Purchasing Manager, responsible for procuring and expediting supplies at the best combination of price, availability, and rebate. Sue was later promoted to Order Fulfilment Manager, where they had overall responsibility for multiple departments and over 80 staff members. Sue played a significant role in cost analysis/reduction and improving service levels.

Sue's work experience also includes a role as a Buyer at Premier Farnell from 1995 to 1999, where they gained expertise in procurement and reducing costs through stock rotation analysis.

Sue Ogilvie earned a Chemistry degree from the University of Nottingham between 1992 and 1995.
