The BRIT School
Katie Welford is an experienced arts and fundraising professional currently serving as the Interim Corporate Partnerships Manager and previously as the Trusts and Grants Officer at The BRIT School since September 2023. Welford has been a Member of the Board of Trustees for SPARE TYRE THEATRE COMPANY LIMITED since June 2022. Previous roles include Producer at Graphite and Diamond from May 2022 to July 2023 and Digital Community Engagement Producer at 60 Miles by Road or Rail, where responsibilities included developing digital engagement for exploring Northampton and Corby's history. Welford has successfully completed funding applications for organizations such as Bad Vibrations and worked as a Project Manager for non zero one, overseeing significant artworks including collaborations with composers and developing public art installations. Educational qualifications include a Master's in International Development from the University of Bath and a BA Hons in Drama & Theatre Arts/Cultural Studies from the University of Birmingham.
