Vice President of Business Development at Brite Solar

Rick Orlando has had a long and successful career in the technology industry. Rick began their career in 1993 as the Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Exel Microelectronics. In 1996, they became the CEO and President of Summit Microelectronics Inc. In 2001, they were the CEO of Alta Analog, Inc. From 2014 to 2016, they were the CEO and President of Phenix LLC and the Vice President of Business Development at Brite Solar. In 2016, they were the Digital Lead at CAPSUlaser, where they designed the User Interface for a Laser Cataract Surgery System and developed a system for preventing the use of counterfeit disposable items. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Board Observer at Solaria Corporation and CoolIT Systems. In 2019, they were a Board Observer, Board Member, and VP WW Sales at altierre and CFX, respectively.

Rick Orlando attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1976 to 1980 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering.
