Sunny Parekh

Sunny Parekh has a wealth of experience in the Information Security and Compliance field. Sunny began their career in 1999 as an Intern at Allstate, where they worked in the contract change department and interacted with policy holders. Sunny then worked as an Internal Auditor for the Treasury Inspector General For Tax Administration from 2002 to 2004. Following that, they were a Senior Auditor at Alliance for Audited Media from 2004 to 2007. Sunny then moved on to become an Internal Auditor II at Perdoceo Education Corporation from 2007 to 2010. From 2010 to 2015, they were a Senior Information Security Auditor at BDO USA, LLP. After that, they worked as an Internal Audit, Senior Advisory Consultant - Technology Risk at Deloitte & Touche, LLP from 2015 to 2016. Finally, they have been a Principal, Enterprise Information Security and Internal Audit, IS Project Manager at Discover Financial Services since 2016 and is currently the Director of Information Security and Compliance at BriteCore since 2022.

Sunny Parekh has an education history that includes an MBA in Accounting from Roosevelt University (2004-2006) and a BBA in Finance and Accounting from Roosevelt University (2000-2003).
