Pawel Podziewski

Pawel Podziewski serves as the Global Functional CIO for Finance, HR, Legal & External Affairs at British American Tobacco, overseeing IT and Digital strategies for global corporate functions since January 2003. Key achievements include the definition of an IT Strategy for Finance with a focus on S/4 HANA, establishing a Finance Technology Steering Group, and delivering various Data and Analytics solutions. With a diverse career trajectory at BAT, Pawel has held significant roles such as Company Director of BASS GSD LIMITED, Group Chief Information Security Officer, and Global Operations IT Portfolio Manager, where responsibilities encompassed managing IT risk, leading global support for SAP systems, and driving transformative IT agendas across 50+ factories globally. Earlier experience includes roles as a Global SAP Programme Template Design Lead and SAP Manager, where Pawel was instrumental in systems enhancements and business transformations. Pawel holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from Bialystok University of Technology.
