Wendilene Balie

Wendilene Balie is an experienced HR professional with a career spanning over a decade in various roles at BAT from August 2014 to the present, currently serving as the Cluster Head of HR & Inclusion for East & Southern Africa Markets. Previous positions include Senior HR Business Partner across different sectors, HR Project Manager, and Reward Manager. Wendilene's responsibilities encompass managing global mobility, recruitment, employee benefits, taxes, payroll, customer services, data, and HR finance for the Southern Africa Area. Prior to BAT, Wendilene held positions at Ernst & Young as an Area HR Shared Services Team Lead and served as a Tax Consultant at Deloitte & Touche. Wendilene holds a Global Remuneration Professional Certification from the South African Reward Association and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting from California State University - East Bay.
