Andrew Brenton Ll.m.

Andrew Brenton LL.M., ARPS, FRSA is a specialist in Sports Law and Governance, AI Governance, Data Protection, Safeguarding Law, and Business Continuity. Currently serving as a consultant at IOLIS A R C since April 2019, Andrew provides tailored strategic and compliance advice to National Governing Bodies and sports organizations in the UK, as well as to small and medium-sized businesses. Additionally, Andrew has held the position of Data Protection Officer for UK Athletics since February 2025 and has previously worked as a GDPR, Privacy, and Information Governance Specialist from 2016 to July 2019. Prior experience includes various project management and governance roles across banking, finance, and petrochemical industries from 1989 to 2012. Andrew holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the University of South Wales and a BA (Hons) in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.
