Aleksander Chłopecki is the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of British Automotive Holding. A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw and the University of Frederick William in Bonn. Professor of law, employed at the University of Warsaw (Institute of Civil Law). Since 2008, President of the Arbitration Court at the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. Attorney-at-law, associate of law firms - currently Dentons. In 2004-2006, he was a member of the Management Board of the National Depository for Securities, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PZU SA. In 1997-2000, director of the Legal Department in the Securities and Exchange Commission, and in 2001-2004, Legal Deputy Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission. In the years 1991-1996 Advisor to the Chairman of the Securities Commission. Author and co-author of many books and articles on securities law, commercial and civil law. Co-author of most of the legal regulations in force in the past and currently on the Polish capital market. Moreover, he is the President of the Arbitration Court at the Polish Financial Supervision Authority.
According to the submitted statement, Aleksander Chłopecki meets the independence criteria set out in the Best Practices of WSE Listed Companies and the independence criteria set out in Art. 129 sec. 3 of the Act on statutory auditors, audit firms and public supervision.
