Alex Mellows

Alex Mellows is a seasoned finance professional with a robust background in financial operations and commercial management. Currently serving as Finance Operations Director at British Business Bank since September 2023, Alex has previously held significant roles including Deputy Group Commercial Director at Gleeson Homes and Head of Finance at Fulcrum Group. With extensive experience in financial management spanning over a decade, Alex has also contributed as Commercial Controller and Financial Planning and Analysis Manager at Harworth Group plc, along with prior roles at Jenx Ltd, Tribal Group, and HLM Architects. Alex holds a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy from Sheffield Hallam University, earned between 2006 and 2010.
