Yag Kanani is an accomplished professional in the field of information security and compliance, currently serving as the Head of Information Security & Compliance at British Business Bank since May 2019. As the Managing Director and Founder of Yag Kanani Consulting Limited since June 2009, Yag provides freelance advisory services in security and data privacy. Previous experience includes significant roles such as Group Head of Cyber Security EMEA at Ricoh Europe PLC, Head of Security & Privacy Services at Company85, and Head of Security & Privacy Consulting Practice at Grant Thornton LLP. Yag has also held positions at notable organizations including RSA, Comsec Consulting UK, KPMG LLP, Capgemini, and Deloitte & Touche LLP, where expertise in leading security practices and delivering comprehensive information security solutions was demonstrated. Yag Kanani holds a BSc (Hons) in Applied Physics & Electronics from the University of Wales, Cardiff.
