Suki Law, CPHR, SHRM-SCP, is an accomplished HR professional with extensive experience in diverse roles. Currently, Suki serves as the Director of People and Talent at the BC College of Nurses and Midwives since July 2020. Prior to this, Suki held various leadership positions at Science World British Columbia from December 2004 to July 2020, including Vice President of Human Resources, where strategic leadership and hands-on management were key responsibilities. Suki's earlier career includes significant HR roles at Fusepoint Managed Services, the District of West Vancouver, Electronic Arts, and AT&T, showcasing a strong foundation in HR infrastructure and organizational development. Suki holds an MBA in Human Resources from Royal Roads University and a BA in Sociology from Hong Kong Baptist University.

BC College of Nurses and Midwives

BCCNM is the provincial regulator for all nurses and midwives in British Columbia. We regulate the four nursing designations--licensed practical nurses (LPN), nurse practitioners (NP), registered nurses (RN) and registered psychiatric nurses (RPN)--as well as registered midwives (RM). Our purpose is to ensure the public receives safe, competent, and ethical nursing and midwifery care. BCCNM was established Sep. 1, 2020, through the amalgamation of the BC College of Nursing Professionals and the College of Midwives of BC. This amalgamation is in line with the Ministry of Health's ongoing efforts to streamline and modernize health profession regulation in B.C. The new college is the first nurse and midwife regulator in Canada, and the largest regulator in Western Canada, overseeing 68,500 registrants.
