Tim Ayres serves as the Chair and Director of the BC Real Estate Association, representing over 23,000 REALTORS® in British Columbia since March 2020. Selected as Chair-Elect for the 2024-2025 term, Tim is currently shadowing the current chair and learning from a past chair. With experience as a REALTOR® at Royal LePage since July 2007, Tim markets and sells various residential properties in communities near Victoria, BC. Prior roles include Director at Large for The Canadian Real Estate Association from March 2016 to April 2018, and Director for the Victoria Real Estate Board from January 2009 to December 2015, where Tim chaired the Finance and Audit Committee and served as the Board's President in 2014, acting as chief spokesperson and representative for over 1,220 REALTORS®. Tim's education includes ongoing studies in Urban Land Economics at The University of British Columbia and previous studies at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
