Florence Leroy

Florence Leroy has extensive experience in editorial and production management within the field of academic publishing. Currently serving as the Editorial and Production Manager at BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT since October 2000, Florence oversees the editorial office of The Computer Journal and Interacting with Computers, ensuring efficient operation through Manuscript Central. Previous roles include Production Manager, where responsibilities included the production and distribution of trade materials, and Managing Editor/Acting Production Manager for BCS’s academic flagship title. Prior to BCS, Florence was the Managing Editor at the Max-Planck-Institut für Meteorologie, focusing on climate research publications. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Accounting from The Open University, a Maitrise in Langues et Civilisations Etrangeres - English from Université Paris-Sorbonne, and a Maitrise in Law from Paris-Pantheon-Assas University. Florence also participated in a one-year Erasmus exchange at the University of Reading.
