James Hankey CSyP FSyI F.ISRM is the Global Head of Health and Safety, Security and Business Continuity at the British Council. Prior to this role, James served as the Deputy Global Head of Health and Safety, Security and Business Continuity at the British Council. James has also worked as the Deputy Head of Security and Resilience at a strategic Defence establishment for the UK Ministry of Defence. James has experience as the Head of People and Culture for a team of intelligence and security professionals. Additionally, James has served as a Principal Field Security Advisor during the West Africa Ebola crisis. James holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Management Development from Northumbria University and a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership and Management.
