Jonathan Day is a seasoned sports management professional with extensive experience in cycling and motorsport. Since May 2017, Jonathan has held various leadership positions at British Cycling, including Managing Director of British Cycling Events and Sport and Participation Director, overseeing a multi-functional team and delivering key cycling programs across the UK. Prior to this, Jonathan served as Director of Development at Motorsport UK, focusing on elite performance and club development. Jonathan's career in British Cycling began in 2006 as National Cycle Sport Manager, with earlier roles in regional development and coaching. In addition to a strong background in cycling, Jonathan has also contributed to youth sports development through roles at the Youth Sport Trust and grassroots football with the East Riding Football Association. Jonathan holds a 2:1 BSc in Sport and Exercise Science from Leeds Beckett University.
