Matthew C.

Matthew C. is an experienced cycling professional with a diverse background in coaching, mechanics, and management. Currently serving as the Great British Cycling Team Lead Mountain Bike Coach since September 2014, Matthew oversees the planning and development of the U23 and U19 National programmes while collaborating with senior management and stakeholders. Previously, Matthew managed the Development Mountain Bike Program, supporting talented young athletes aged 16 to 19, and served as the Lead Mechanic for the GB Paralympic Cycling Team. Matthew's earlier roles include Lead Bike Mechanic and Cycle Mechanic Teacher at Outspoken Cycles, Store Manager at Alpine Bikes, and various positions in retail management. Matthew holds a Master's degree in Rural Land Management from the University of Aberdeen, which was completed in 2007.
