Robert Pickering

Robert Pickering is an experienced professional with a robust background in partnership development and management across various sectors. Currently serving as Partnership Development Manager at British Cycling since August 2017, Robert has held multiple roles within the organization, including Regional Manager and Lead Cycling Delivery Manager. Prior to this, Robert worked at Salford City Council for over a decade in senior leadership roles, such as Assistant Director and Client Manager for the A J Bell Stadium, focusing on commercial and community opportunities. Robert's earlier experience includes significant positions at Liverpool City Council, Univar, and Marks and Spencer, contributing expertise in economic development, performance management, and finance.
