Wim Chalmet is an experienced educator and coach currently serving as the Interim Head Teacher at Fortrose Academy, with a tenure at Highland Council since February 2013, where previous roles included Head Teacher at Gairloch High School and various leadership positions. In addition to educational leadership, Wim has been a Level 2 Accredited Performance Coach with TrainingPeaks since August 2019 and has contributed as a tutor and mentor for UKCC cycling Coach Education with British Cycling since August 2014. Wim’s diverse background also encompasses roles in fitness instruction and sports education, having served as a Spinning Instructor at Highlife Highland and a Tutor for sportscotland. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching from KU Leuven and various leadership certifications from GTC Scotland and UHI.
