Justin Durham

Justin Durham is a distinguished academic and clinical professional currently serving as the Director and Professor of Orofacial Pain at Newcastle University since August 2017, while also holding the position of Honorary Consultant Oral Surgeon at Newcastle-Upon-Tyne Hospitals' NHS Foundation Trust. In addition, Justin Durham has been the Chief Scientific Officer for the British Dental Association since April 2022 and previously held the role of Head of the School of Dental Sciences. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Lecturer in Oral Surgery and Orofacial Pain and NIHR Clinician Scientist at Newcastle University from 2009 to March 2017, as well as the role of NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer in Oral Surgery.
