Samantha Taylor has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. Samantha began their career as a Sales Assistant at Boots in 2007 and later worked as a Sales Advisor at Habitat. In 2010, Samantha joined HEALS as a Furniture Sales Advisor, where they gained experience in customer service and order processing.
Samantha then transitioned into the marketing field and worked as a Student Marketing Assistant at the University of Portsmouth, where they supported at Open Day events and communicated with prospective students and parents. Samantha later joined Combined Insurance as a Marketing Assistant, providing support for the launch of a new product and ensuring compliance with marketing materials.
In 2012, Samantha worked as a Marketing Assistant at City and Law before joining Nuffield Health as a Digital Marketing Executive. At Nuffield Health, Samantha worked on website launches for consultants and played a crucial role in the paid acquisition strategy, driving traffic and generating leads for the business.
Samantha's most recent role was at British Gas, where they held various positions, including Digital Marketing Assistant Manager, Senior Digital Marketing Manager, Senior Marketing Capabilities and Technologies Manager, Senior Digital Manager, Performance Marketing Lead, and currently, Head of Performance Marketing. Their responsibilities at British Gas included managing digital campaigns, analyzing performance, managing agency partnerships, and driving high-quality traffic to meet targets effectively.
Throughout their career, Samantha has developed strong skills in digital marketing, performance marketing, campaign management, and team leadership.
Samantha Taylor began their education at Richmond upon Thames College from 2006 to 2008, where they pursued A-Levels in the fields of English Language and Literature, Media, and Psychology. Samantha then went on to the University of Portsmouth from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a BA(Hons) in Marketing with Psychology. Following their undergraduate studies, Samantha enrolled at The Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing for the academic year 2013-2014, pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Marketing with a specialization in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia.
