Emanuel Zarate

Emanuel Zarate is a Hydrogeologist at the British Geological Survey since December 2022, with a strong academic background including a PhD in hydrological sciences from Cardiff University, where research focused on groundwater recharge in drylands and environmental change. Previous roles include teaching second-year undergraduates in the EA2312 Process Geomorphology and Hydrology course, and various teaching assistant positions at Cardiff University. Emanuel's experience encompasses significant work with the British Antarctic Survey on geophysical research projects and modelling of ice sheet conditions, as well as offshore and onshore geophysical site surveys at Horizon Geosciences. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Applied Geophysics from multiple top institutions and a Bachelor of Science in Geophysics from Imperial College London.
