Jim Whiteley

Jim Whiteley is an experienced geophysicist currently serving as a QJEGH Editorial Board Member at The Geological Society and as Engineering Geophysics Lead and Principal Engineering Geophysicist at AtkinsRéalis. Jim has been with the British Geological Survey since September 2016 as an Honorary Research Associate, contributing to advancements in geophysical technologies for environmental monitoring. Jim's previous roles include Associate Geophysicist and Senior Geophysicist at TerraDat UK Ltd., where responsibilities included designing and implementing near-surface geophysical surveys for various industries. Jim holds a PhD in Geology from the University of Bristol and a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Applied Environmental Geology and Geology, respectively, from Cardiff University.
