Karen Hanghøj

Karen joined the BGS in 2019 from EIT RawMaterials, a knowledge and innovation community supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology. She brings extensive experience to the BGS from her previous roles at the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland, as an academic researcher and in business, and she is a member of a range of international advisory boards. Karen’s expertise will ensure the BGS is well-placed to meet future challenges and ensure it continues as a globally leading geological survey, delivering services and providing infrastructure support both nationally and globally.
