Anthony Balchin

Anthony Balchin is a seasoned Controls and Automation Engineer, currently employed at British Gypsum since December 2023. Prior to this position, Anthony worked at FAREVA as a Controls and Automation Engineer and later as Electrical Engineering Team Leader from January 2018 to December 2023. Experience also includes roles as Electrical Engineering Specialist and Engineering Team Leader at BCM Manufacturing from September 2016 to January 2018, as well as a long tenure at Imperial Tobacco, where positions included Systems Technician in Controls and Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineer, and Electrical Apprentice from September 1991 to September 2016. Anthony holds an HNC in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nottingham Trent University and an ONC in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from People's College.
