David Griffiths

David Griffiths is an experienced geologist currently serving as Geology Superintendent at British Gypsum since February 2015, after previously holding the titles of Senior Geologist and Geologist. Responsibilities include managing exploration drilling programs and providing geological support to underground mines and a quarry, along with conducting training presentations. Prior experience includes roles as Mine Geologist and Exploration Geologist at Gold Fields Ltd., where activities focused on drill hole planning, logging, and geological interpretation at the Agnew gold mine in Western Australia. David also completed an internship at the British Geological Survey, conducting research on Rare Earth Elements. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mining Geology from the University of Exeter and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Durham University, with ongoing leadership and management training through the Chartered Management Institute.
