Makondo Mbunji

Makondo Mbunji is an experienced geology professional currently serving as the Geology Superintendent for Barrick Gold Corporation since November 2018, leading Pre-feasibility and Feasibility Study programs. Past roles at Barrick include Senior Geologist, Project Geologist, Mine Geologist, and Graduate Geologist, with responsibilities ranging from executing PFS programs and managing drilling campaigns to technical reporting and environmental systems. Prior to Barrick, Makondo gained experience as a Hydrogeologist at BGR, a Geologist at Tullow Oil, and a Geologist with the Geological Survey Department of Zambia. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Zambia.
