British Higher School of Art and Design
Max Nesterenko is an experienced educator and creative professional with a strong background in art and design. Currently serving as Course Director for CPD Graphic Design at the British Higher School of Art & Design in Moscow since December 2005, Max lectures on topics including Art & Design History, Theory of Communication, Gestalt Theory, Critical Theory, and Contextual Studies to 150 students. Previous roles include Critical and Cultural Studies Module Leader at PRIOR Advertising/Hakuhodo, Creative Director at Leo Burnett, and Senior Art Director at Euro RSCG/MAXIMA. Max holds a Post Graduate degree in Visual Arts from the Vienna University of Applied Arts and an MA equivalent in Graphic Arts/Illustration from the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov of the Russian Academy of Arts.
