Natasha Kate Ward

Natasha Kate Ward serves as the Environmental, Social, and Governance Manager and Team Head at British International Investment since July 2021, overseeing a team of seven E&S specialists and advising on E&S impacts in Africa and South Asia. Previously, Natasha held several positions at the Inter-American Development Bank from June 2004 to July 2021, including Senior Environmental Specialist in both policy implementation and operations, where responsibilities spanned the development of environmental management systems, E&S due diligence, and stakeholder engagement. Natasha also undertook an independent compliance review for a project in Uruguay with MICI from January 2024 to September 2024. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Environment, Development and Policy from the University of Sussex and a Graduate Certificate in World Heritage Conservation from University College Dublin.
