Stefanie Fairholme

Stefanie Fairholme is a seasoned investment professional currently serving as Chief Investment Officer for Capital Solutions at British International Investment since January 2025. Prior to this role, Stefanie held the position of Chief Investment Officer at The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet from November 2021 to January 2025. Stefanie also served as Director of Investments for Climate Finance at The Rockefeller Foundation from September 2018 to September 2022 and was Head of Impact Investment at Marie Stopes International from March 2015 to September 2018. Earlier in their career, Stefanie gained valuable experience in investment banking at ING and Standard Bank, specializing in Emerging Markets Structuring, after holding a Vice President role at Lehman Brothers. Stefanie began their career as an Associate in Investment Banking at UBS Investment Bank. Stefanie holds a BA in Economics from Yale University, completed between 2000 and 2003.
